They should but they don't have to. And a lot of rappers don't have as much money as the appear to have. So it just depends on how you look at it.
I think they should help out their communities BUT they are not obligated to do so.

Rapers usually freighten those in the community. If your talking about rappers ....I would say yes. They should use their fame and fortune to give back to the community and the people they are familiar with.
I am assuming you meant rappers...not rapers. I don't think rapists have a responsiblity to the community, and neither do rappers.
No, they don't have to. It would be nice, but they are not obligated to do so. I just think they should rep a higher standard of living.

its not their responsibilty. its the people in the neighborhoods responsibility. rise on your own, people cant help you forever.
Is it their responsibility? No... But I mean as fans, we're putting our money into them... Why not put some of that money back out and help those that aren't as fortunate?

I think that anyone who is famous or has wealth should give back to his or her community.
I believe it is a rappers/emcee or any famouse persons responsiblity to give back...
either through private foundtations, benefit concerts ect...
with fame comes a certain responsiblity to community...and if you are popular all over the world or country that is your new community, so yes they should do something to give back..
I think EVERYONE on earth has a responsibility to help people in their communities. Be part of the solutions not part of the problems.
I think it's a morality issue for people, and unfortunately for them (those that do not practice their moral beliefs)...karma can be a b*tch.
It's not his RESPONSIBILITY, but it's the respectable thing to do, especially if you constantly rap about the social and economic problems in your hood and then get rich.. it's definetly not cool to get rich and forget where you came from...

Not just people with money should help in the community, everybody should do their share, no matter how little or how much they can spend. It is not always money, or big spending, that make a community happy, healthy and worth living in.
