What has he done to earn his place in "hip-hop history?"
In all honestly I don't care too much for his stuff. I mean he is a very humbling person when it comes to accepting awards...but really his style isn't what I like. I haven't and wouldn't go bad any of his albums. He is very commerical, and he came full force into the mainstream that my judgment on him was like, "Ayyy not my cup of tea"

I think, whoever signed him is a little bit touched in the head. And they should immediatly go kill themselves. But you know..that's just me.

he raps ALOT about bush and all the political issues. and i find him to be a really nice person. i dont really know him know him but hes cool
I respect Cham but he is not in the history making status because what is really unique about his rapping? He was better in my opinion when him and Paul Wall use to rap together on SwishaHouse. He was holding it down then. But he is a humble dude even in person at Texas Beach Party and all.
I don't think he really has established himself in the hip-hop industry that much to say he has really made an impact nor do I really bump his music on a regular. Not to say he is trash and can't rap, cause he ain't on a bad track at this point, but he gonna have push himself a little further if he wants to attain staying power. But what ican say is that when I saw him on an awards show (sorry I can't remember), he stated that he does this music for the fans and that without the fans there would be no him, so really he should be giving us an award for picking him and he takes time to sign all his fans autographs whenever he in traffic and stuff......I thought that was really cool and I have respected him since then. Now his music....only time will tell if he can get a spot in hip-hop history...........

I'm not a fan of his music but I have observed his demeanor and ethics and respect him for both.
In the world of haughty and ignorant rappers he stands out as humble and knowledgeable about the world around him.
From a regional point of view he definitely makes a mark in the south and especially Texas.
