You mean the Ipod software-Itunes?
Try uninstalling the software completely then restart your computer and reinstall the software and go from there.
Just a wild guess, but it might help and isnt hard to do.
BTW, is this a problem that just started? In other words did this Ipod ever work with the software, or is it a new one that you cant get to work?
