I am bored and would like a good rock, indie, or punk band?!
Question: I like lots of music. I like punk like bad religion, pennywise, Rancid and the Transplants. I like indie and rock like the strokes, modest mouse, and jimmy eat world... etc basically I am looking for something new to listen to? I even like hip-hop and some rap. Anyone got some of there favorite bands and there favorite songs for me to lookup?

Try the 80's metal genre. You might like some of that stuff.

I recommend that you look up Flatfoot 56 on myspace. They are scottish punk.. it's fantastic. It's very similar to dropkick murphy's I guess.. if you like them. and At-The-Drive In.. I guess it's hardcore punk or something.. whatever it is, it's great.
Also.... Jon Foreman's new solo EP's are rad.
okay.. and Dr. Dog is pretty sweet.. they opened for Wilco a few months ago when I saw them. And if you've not already got Wilco on your list, add them.
