Would you consider DevilDriver goove metal or death metal?!
Question: very far away from deathmetal. There like half groove metal and half just "metal". The vox sounds nothing like death metal. if you have heard six feet under or morbid angel then you have heard death metal. So yeah there an amazing band live.

I don't really try to classify metal, it's so hard just to find good metal.

idk id put em as both they def have a groove metal sound but his vocals are def death metal its a blend of the two i think but if i had to pic one id say death metal
i think it's HEAVY metal. i hate the "sub genre" thing. its heavy and its metal. why do you need to know more. just listen to it.
