Why are pre-war Martin guitars considered so valuable?!

Question: If they were made a certain way, why doesn't Martin make them that way now?

Answers: If they were made a certain way, why doesn't Martin make them that way now?

Martin does produce and reissues guitars that are manufactured no differently than those pre-war guitars.

The perceived value of the guitar simply appreciates with time as the wood ages and the tones of the guitar improve with aging.

Vintage, as in pre-Fender Guild or pre AMC Harleys.
