Yeah i got that problem. I don't like to choose cuz every band that i listen to is pretty much a part of me as my arm or my leg is. So prefering one of my legs over the other won't make me realize how it would be without the other leg. In other words if i prefered Obituary over Monstrosity i might regret never paying as much attention to Monstrosity if for some reason they could never play again.

Yeah, because sometimes i may like this band at the moment and then something comes in the way and then i like this band more. Also sometimes the band has this one song that like a one hit wonder lol, and im like in love with it and sometimes their other songs sucks or so. Or i like a bunch of bands all equally and can't decide...
soo.. if someone was like what's your favorite i say i don't have one favorite band.. i have a lot lol

Yeah, definitely. There's a lot of different GOOD music out there. I generally listen to classic rock, and even then there's a lot to distinguish here and there. After a while you'll feel yourself being attracted to the same type of music, and you'll know what you prefer.

yes, i like alot of different bands for various reasons. some i like to just relax to and some i enjoy when im full of energy and just wanna rock out to :]
i think true music fans dont have a favorite band, they have a list
um, radiohead is my favorite band
they really don't have any competition
i like picking favorites and catagorizing
but past radiohead and the beatles, i have some trouble...
for one thing, i don't like mentioning any band with radiohead because it gives the impression i like them just as much, which i dont
and i would say wilco and the flaming lips are my next two, but i feel weird saying it as i only own 5 albums between those two bands so i hardly know them, and certainly not their full identity, it's a very different problem
I have no problem choosing my favorite band (Nine Inch Nails is my favorite), the hard part is when someone asks "What's your favorite song from NIN?" It's nearly impossible for me to pick just one NIN song to call my favorite, I usually list 10 or more.
I've noticed that I like around 2 or 3 songs from most artists/bands. When I dont like their sound is when I don't like them.
Also nothingmusic- the work I use to describe the songs you are listening to and at the end you have no opinion- doesn't make you feel any emotion.
