Question: "Good music" is definately based on one's own perspective...
In general though, "good music" is breath of fresh air for a particular genre. Usually "good music" is popular music, so it'll have gained a following.
Just because a music critic says something is trash, the general public may disagree.

you cant really, it all depends on the person and their taste.
music that makes you move emotionally. whether it be from lyrics or the music
bonus points if it makes you cry.

Good Music - Good Question
Good Music .. is a matter of opinion....However...I dont think good music is necessarily a matter of the "fans" opinion. To me... if someone puts there "Heart" behind the content that they write....then that music is GOOD music.. no one can take the meaning of that material from the artists...
