Am I too old to become a rock star?!
Question: I am 19 and I really have a passion for rock music...I want to buy a guitar and learn as much as I can, and then I want to start a band....Is my dream...Will it be possible?

Practise as much as possible.
Keep listening to music. (for obvious reasons)
It'd be understandable if you were 50+ and had no idea what a fretboard was. But. Your ONLY 19.
A lot of people have the passion for rockstar and theyve never picked up a plectrum or thrashed a beat out on drums. And sometimes their the ones that have more passion then some current rockstars. Just take the band Gallows. Frank Carter (the frontman...if you didnt already know), practically hates being in the band, and every interview he has....he says the same thing. I bet loadsa kids have the dream to be a rockstar stronger then he does.
Take it from me. Im only 15. I'd KILL to be a rockstar and start a band. It's my dream too. At the moment I only play classical/acoustic guitar, I've been playing for just a year and have got to a really high standard. Determination, I literally practise everyday or as much as I can. I can play electric, but not incredibly great. I only know a few people thatd start a propper band with me.
Just stay determined. You can achieve anything you want to if you set your mind to it. Get some lessons. Get good. Grab some friends. Have some jamming sessions. Get a few songs or even just a few cover versions going. N at least then you'd have something!

My friend, you can never be too old. And your not that old, so it's fine too.
Just go out, grab a guitar, learn to jam, find some friends you link with creatively, and just go by there.

the only rock star bands that are taken seriously have to be at least 23 I'd say, so you have four years to get ready and get your cd/band careers starting....
So, buy a guitar right now and start taking lessons, and try talking to people who are also into music/might want to start a band. You just have to practice more than others, so you can catch up and pass those who started when they were younger!

Of course its possible. but you gotta just do it and believe it instead of asking randomos on ya,,, go on, now!
There's no such thing as too old to rock...unless you're KISS, then that's too old to rock.
Sure... if you REALLY worked at it, you could play a guitar well enough in a year to play rhythm guitar in a band.
Of course it's possible. You just have to try, and never quit.
