Best song writer?!

Question: in your oppinion

Answers: in your oppinion

Paul Simon is a pretty good one. If any lesser writer tried to mix so many different elements into one song as he does, the song would be really bad. Paul Simon just adds stuff that makes the song so much better. He also writes in so many different styles, like folk and pop.

The Eagles come up with good songs....I think it's Don Henley and Glenn Frye that do it...not sure

Jason Mraz

the song writer from the Underground Black Metal band Winterfallen. Their lyrics just speak to me. Lol.

As the moon peaks high above
Blood trickles down the altar of worn stone
And the stars in the fathomless heavens
Are heralding the awakening of dark primordial forces
- Winterfallen

Bob Dylan

i love the beatles.

M.I.A.
uffie.
i like their lyrics.
the pixies.

COLDPLAY!

I'm not sure who did the writing but I find Pink Floyd's lyrics really deep.

My friend is in love with Jason Mraz, and I don't think he's that bad either, he has pretty good songs.

Kurt Cobain

he could write about absolutely anything and it would still sound good. even if 99% of his songs made no sense

All of these :~

Candice Night
Ian Anderson
Mark Knopfler
Stevie Nicks

Bon Jovi hands down.
Listen to Livin' On a Prayer.
Definately the best

gerard way and amy lee....

I know not everybody agrees but that's my opinion

Bob Dylan
Cat Stevens
Jonathan Davis
and last but not least Art Matthews

John Lennon

Amy Lee of Evanescence. I love her lyrics!

pete townsend/roger doughtery- the who
john fogherty- ccr/solo artist
james taylor- solo artist
kenny longins- a lot of movie soundtracks- caddy shack, footloose
richard marx-solo/ other artists
stevie nicks/ lindsey buckingham- fleetwood mac

I really don't have a best.. b/c they all contribute good stuff rather it's their own music or someone elses..
