i think lack of competition is bad for an emcee. its like if a guy thinks he's got his **** on lockdown then goes to a battle and another dude just blows him outta the water he's going to want to better his ability's and try to out due that guy next time. but if there is no competition then he's just going to walk around thinking he's as good as he will be.
not necessarily...because rappers from the south are not just competing with the rappers from their region, but every major artist at their level, from any region
