you have to do this as a passion not for fame or money. thats where Gerard started. he said he wanted to do this to make a difference in the world. go with his answers. theyre usually fun!
Well, to start a band obviously you need bandmates, and more importantly talent.
Gather some friends that is interested. Then make practice sessions with them. and perform in school.
talk to your school's teacher in charge
Well if you want to start a band your going to have to find people to join...
Then think what genre of music you want to be...
What instruments...
Then you can get rehersing and getting noticed...
post your band info on sites or in the newspaper
well traditionally it takes some musical talent...
but these days, you can throw any load of junk together and call it music; as long as you make it sound catchy
You could try posting your music on networking sites such as myspace, buzznet, netlog, bebo etc... and music sites such as purevolume.com
