I always had tapes before this...but the first cd I purchased was Snoop Doggy Dogs...Doggy Style...I was flipping out because of how the cd looked...the album art...I was young...and tapes never had any special look...except "The Purple Tape"...old school heads know what that is...

Let's see.. I think the first one I got was Wild Pitch Classics ( you know, Large Professor, Main Source, etc.) the first one I actually bought was M.O.P. Firing Squad when it first came out. I was married to cassette tapes. It took me a minute to switch over.
the first cd I recieved was 8 ball and MJG - Coming Out Hard. The first one I bought myself was Geto Boys - Till Death Do Us Part.........man I still rock both of them....
Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life in '99. Was the first I bought. Umm recieved?... I've borrowed albums, but never kept them. I guess The Sound Of Revenge by Chamillionaire, because that was the first album I borrowed and burned on my computer.

Received: Legal Drug Money by The Lost Boyz. My Uncle gave it to me as a birthday present. I had to hide it from my parents. lol
Purchased: Stillmatic by Nas (I was 13). I actually cut school the day it came out, went to my cousins house (she was over 18), and told her to come with me to get it (Nas was having an in store signing). We went to get it, and she purchased it for me (with my birthday money).
