KISS: awesome or overrated?!
Question: Musically overrated....but the definately put on an awesome show. That's just my opinion though.

KISS is underrated if anything
they are credited with forming a new style in stage proformance.
and you have not truly expierienced their awesomeness until you see them LIVE
Kiss has never been a critical favorite, but its the fans verdict that counts. As Gene Simmons said "Kiss has never been about style", it's about entertainment". Because it's hard to argue with success I can only say they're awesome.

musically..nothing special. visually...kinda scary, but they still manage to get a ton of fans. it's beyond me.

i have to agree with the first answer...as musicians i think they're overrated and pretty much lacking in talent, but they are top-notch entertainers who always bring a good show

Kiss's music is vastly over-rated and the Kiss members have even admitted to as so. It's their shows that are so awesome! If you've never been to a Kiss concert you haven't seen nothing yet!
