Is there a book for tablatures for guitar?!
Question: I got a electric guitar 3 days ago and I have learned tabs. I want to get a book from my music store, but I don't know if they make books that have tabs in them. I really don't want to look stupid about it either. Do they make tableture books? If so what are some good ones I could ask for?

uh actually no need, there's a site lemme look up quick (yes I sepak my mind as i type)....ultimate-guitar.com is a great site to look up tabs, completly free. Of course these tabs are made by fellow guitar players and may not be perfect but usually pretty perfect. You can look up tabs by band or songs and when looking for a tab make sure at the least there are 4*. If you can't find a tab, you may have to look somewhere else or figure it out yourself.
Also I'm gonna throw this out there, to actually become a decent guitarist, you should figure it out yourself, there are programs out there that will slow down songs so you can figure it out. By looking at tabs your not really gonna learn anything.
Yes there are tons of tab books from just about every band. The best thing you can do is decide for yourself which band you want to learn. Otherwise you might get bored and lose interest in playing music from someone you don't like all that much.
