Question: Okay i asked a question about what your pick was on guitars.. the reason im asking is i always wanted to learn how to play so now im going to learn but i have to buy a guitar and i am asking everyone for there thoughts on this,,,,i have looked at a lot of them, but there are so many that im really not sure so anything you all can tell me i thank you

I'd suggest you buy an Ibanez Jumpstart Pack. It comes with an GRX40 Ibanez guitar, a 10 watt amp, strap, pick, headphones, tuner etc. As far as cheap guitars go, Ibanez make the best for the price.

Go for packages. Even if you buy a guitar by itself for a good price, you'll end up spending more on cases, amps, etc. Sorry, I can't name a specific guitar as I am searching for one right now!
If you're looking for a good acoustic guitar, try anything from the Taylor GS series. Taylor makes great guitars. They don't sound thin or tinny when you play them.
