Well right after that, she does that dance in the white dress, and she says "Mira, en Barranquilla se baila asi" (meaning "In Barranquilla they dance like this.") I think it's just a shout-out for her country and hometown.
i mean in general latin/hispanic people are great at dancing. in the case of shakira, her hips are 100% arab.
Im from colombia..... and i live here in the united states....and ive never seen an american dance like a colombian...........colombians are sooo awesome. its like one of those things we do like really good....
