When the producer of the music makes music that comes from the heart, stands the test of time, puts work into the music to make it good and does it consistantly(album after album), and sounds good performing live makes a good band. For example: Van Halen, Jon Bon Jovi.
What distinguishes a legend from a fad is the ability to keep producing number one songs and albums. A fad band has only a couple of hits before it loses popularity. A legend band keeps making hits and the songs that make impact society.
A band that I'm not in........
legend..fad....it's pretty much all the same. people can like a band for one song, and that band will be known forever thru that one hit song( like Los del rios "the macarena") they peoimpacted music and gave ple sumthing to listen to. or people will know a band thru their many different sides and be succesful and top selling artists such as (the beatles, 2pac, and elvis) the mani difference is that poeple have to believe what the band is saying in their music and the band has to believe themselves.
nice lyrics. good instrumentals. one of a kind songs. doesn't sound superficial.
