Does everybody have a good voice?!
Question: i mean can anybody have a good voice if they try really really hard and take lessons from a genius teacher or sumthing? when i sing i am not off key or anything but i have a boring singing voice..do i have any hope?

Well, no ... not everyone has a natural voice and while it is possible to develop a good voice if you do not have a natural voice, it does take a *lot* of work, and I mean a *lot*, and in case I did not make myself clear, let me repeat that: it would take a *lot* of work .... it is hardly worth the time & money .... and if you know of any genius teacher, will you let me know? It would be a firs
Let me just cut to the chase with this question and suggest that rather than deal with what you are calling a boring singing voice, you might find something that comes easily to you ....that way you will be happy doing it.

totally, it takes time, sweat, tears, and you HAVE to put your mind to it and you can make a CD and make it to the top of the charts
people can do anything they put their minds to..
of course you have hope! you can do anything you want to as long as you want it...a lot. like the first answerer said, it takes a LOT of sweat, tears, perseverance, devotion, and time to accomplish your dreams.

Deffinately... I've been taking classes for a few years now. Before I was to quiet and I had pitch problems, but now I'm so much better... and I have nore confidence. Go for it...
well look at it this way, there are people like Tim McIIrath who can actually sing
and then there are dudes like the guys from onerepublic who have to squeeze their nuts and put their voices through a bunch of machines to sound on key.

Lessons can only take you so far. If you don't have a good foundation to start with, its not going to help much. Not everyone is cut out to be a singer. I'd love to be able to paint or whistle but I just don't have the gift.
