What is a good but inexpensive electric hollow body guitar?!
Question: I want to get a hollow body, but i can't afford a gretsch or a gibson, i also want something that doesn't look like the same as these two (the usual epiphone/gibson/gretsch hollow bodies look fairly similar.
What is a good hollow bodied electric that i can buy?
I have about £500 max.

Ibanez Artcore.
Under $300 american.
Great neck, good quality.
At Target, they have Fender's for only $200.
Wait, you're British. They don't have Target. I can't help you....
there are some awfully good after christmas sales on Gibsons right now.
I don't know if you are a Fender fan, but Squire(the cheaper version of Fender) has a nice Telecaster, although it is a semi-hollow body. Looks different than the gretsche style bodies and for the price, Squires are decent guitars. I owned a different style of a Squire for a long time, but I did eventually have to upgrade.
If you definitely need a hollow body, I recommend the Artcore like the previous poster said. It does look just like a gretsch though.
Heres a pic of the Squire and description for you
