What or Who is as relevant to HIP HOP as the WHOPPER is to BURGER KING?!

Question: I know you seen those "Burger King without the Whopper " Commercials...What or Who would create that same feeling to the fans of Hip Hop?

For instance, If I woke up tomorrow and there was no more Common...I would SH** myself...LOL...

Just trying to think of creative questions....

God Bless

Dj Cool Herc

he was the first to buy two copies of one record just to be able to mix between the same break

with out that.. there probably wouldnt even BE hip hop as we know it today

the same with the whopper and burger king.. yeah.. burger king MAY have happened.. but it would be as we know it today

HIP HOP STAND UP

...blessings...

Because The Beatles will never be surpassed in musical greatness, they monopolize the stance of "most acclaimed" in every genre, including hip hop.
So, uh, my answer is George, John, Paul, and Ringo.

Jay-Z.

I can't think of a reason why, I just think the Rap and Hip-Hop industry would be different with out him.

KRS-One. I just couldn't imagine hip hop without him.

I eat up whoppers
like part-time emcees
see the happiness in my eyes
when I order a side of fries
That whopper was great
now I'll grab a shake
i've got lettuce to make

I kno who aint relevant: Soulja Boy.... yeah jus a whole mess of othas too, but definetly Soulja Boy

relevant: Kanye, Lupe, Common, Mos, Kweli, artists that make good rap music....Jay-Z as well, almost forgot.

I kno I dumped my pants when Lauryn Hill left

Eminem
Snoop Dog
DMX
50 Cent

T.I.

I would say BIggie and Tupac. These two artist have cultivated hip-hop to what it is today. They didn't create many of the trends in dress, lingo, or deliver that we see in hip-hop today, but collectively they made hip hop what it is today. Tupac with the thug life westcoast life style and biggie with the east coast don baller life style. I think without these two artist we would have no Jay - z, Fiddy, or Puffy. They changed the game.

New York preferably The Bronx. well thats where it all started from right?

Grandmaster Flash. He started it all.

Jay-z....for obvious reasons

Diddy- there would be nothing to laugh at anymore if he was gone and stopped making the Making the Band shows...lol

i would have to say jayz...when he called his self retiring my heart dropped...and young jeezy and lil wayne ill be mad if they stopped

jay HOVA!!

cosigns with Rasp It would have to be Cool Herc and Bam bcuz they started the movement

Then you would have to say Sylvia Robinson and Sugar Hill records...because she got the Sugar Hill gang on the radio and on wax...pushing hip hop to the next level.
