Thanks so much for sharing this, I remember it well, I've been a great fan of Frankie Laine for years, also John Wayne and James Stewart.

I've got to say though that I prefer him singing 'Do not forsake me oh my darlin' from High Noon, I also prefer the film with the great Garry Cooper and I've been in love with Grace Kelly ever since, so I hope you don't mind me adding my own clip.

Rah, Frankie Laine takes me back to my childhood, mum and dad have loads of his records!

Yes, I do.

Absolutely brilliant, it sure does bring back happy memories, thanks for that...............

Wow plato that takes me back. One of my favourite John Wayne films. I heard it was based on a true story. A Lawyer out in the Wild West, his friend and a girl. The Lawyer became a Congressman and got the girl for the killing of the bad guy Liberty Vallance. When he went out for the gunfight as the Lawyer fired so did his friend (played by John Wayne), his bullet went wide but his friend killed Liberty Vallance. When the Congressman heard his friend had died he went to the funeral and the true story came to light. I absolutely love the old 'legend' songs and Frankie Laine and of course John Wayne. Many thanks for the link. xxx

Plato your really funny tonight, keep taking the tablets

For those who liked Liberty Valence you almost have to like Frankie Laine singing "Mule Train" some years before.

fantastic
