What is your all time favorite Soundtrack? (country) and what movie was it from?!

Question: Mine would be. "Urban Cowboy"... and "Pure Country"

Answers: Mine would be. "Urban Cowboy"... and "Pure Country"

"Drive-In" It was a movie made in the late 70's (?)
It was typical "teen" movie of the time, but it was set in Texas with the Drive-in being the place to be on the weekends
With classic cars and custom vans (remember those) and A Country Music Soundtrack with songs like:
"God's gonna get ya for that" by George Jones and Tammy Wynette
"Whatever happened to Randolph Scott" by The Statler Bros.
**** note*****
It's been a while since I've seen it, and it is a pretty lame movie, but the soundtrack is GREAT!!!!

And for old rock and roll (50's and early 60's) the best soundtrack is "Hollywood Knights"

The Scream 3 coundtrack. It had great bands like Deftones and opened my eyes to newer bands like Slipknot and Sevendust.

WHERE IAM FROM JAY-Z STREETS IS WATCHING!!!

I absolutely love the soundtrack from the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou." It is my all time favorite. I bought the CD and listen to it on lengthy trips and sing along to most of the songs. Pure Country and Urban Cowboy were great too.

13 Going on 30...kids movie, but 80's music on the soundtrack.

dirty dancing
urban cowboy

I agree. Really Good Music.

the 8 seconds soundtrack is awesome. And if you haven't seen the movie (based on the life of Lane Frost) you really should check it out.

Pure Country & Once Upon A Texas Train

Tex...You must have been watching CMT lately. They have shown both movies this past month! LOL I asked myself the same question the other night after Urban Cowboy was on. I agree with you, they are the Best Soundtracks ever, not just Country. I love Pure Country and Urban Cowboy, to me the music made the movies.

Mine is Convoy, form the movie Convoy song by C. W. McCall!

8 seconds
Pure Country

Hope Floats

Urban Cowboy I mean Cherokee Fiddle, Johnny Lee......

I like the "traveller" soundtrack, it has alot of great 'non-mainstream' singers on there, like mandy barnett, jimmie dale gilmore, royal wade kimes, and others

Urban Cowboy is AWESOME love to watch it over and over Pure Country is another one I will watch over and over
