Personally for me I do not find Avenged Sevenfold very special, but according to your list I think you might enjoy Bullet for My Valentine. They mix clean singing with screaming and are pretty popular even to people who normally aren't into screaming.

A7X is pretty horrible.
Check out Frank Zappa, he's got some really psyched out, funkadelic stuff, it blew my balls away!!! totally.
If you have any respect for yourself, you wont listen to them, they are extremely overrated
their awsome and if u have time check out some j rock like moi dix mois, malice mizer,dir en grey their awsome! they have a unique metal sound
