It really depends on who is singing it. My personal favorite is Keak da Sneak. I prefer hypy over underground rap or hardcore rap.
It's fun and different. It's a good excuse to go crazy and have fun.

Heres some real underground for you... (Zion I) Really only slept on by the sleepers, the best underground in the Bay Ive heard so far and one of my favorite rap duos.
i f*cks wit Keak da Sneak, E-40 real tough...i can take mac dre in moderations onlly cuz i'm not really big on west coast rap.... Mitchy Slick is ok 2 but he aint from the bay he from Daygo...they alright i guess but Keak and 40 water are the 2 that i can really listen to
