Classic rock of today?!

Question: I was listening to KROQ today (LA's alternative rock station) and a thought popped inside my head. Our kids are going to listen to these songs 15 to 20 years from now on a classic rock radio station and really dig the music. They're going to wonder what it was like to live in the 90s and 2000s and how cool it would have been to see these bands live at a concert. What are some bands and songs you like today that you think will still be liked in 2025?

Nirvana
Pearl Jam
Soundgarden

Audioslave
Rage Against the Machine
AFI

I generated this list basically not on the fact that I am a fan of most of these bands but by the fact that they are the ones making an impact on the mainstream media RIGHT NOW, and that they have the discography to continue their success five, ten, maybe twenty-five years down the road.

well, you included the 90's.

Nothing played on the radio today.

personally i think most bands today suck, (im one of the 16 year olds who listins to rock from the 70's) but i do have some bands that i like from the here and now.

personally one of my favorite bands is shinedown. I also listing to a lot of three days grace

a while back i was a huge blink 182 fan but not so much anymore.

Wild Child, I listen to none of the rock today, as I a now listen to more classical and christian. I can tell you that when Green Day released Dookie back in 92, my niece was two. She is nuts for them now, and I think it is funny. When I think about the next 16 years and the music then, I feel my ears already starting to bleed. Rock On!!

I really don't care for the rock that's out nowadays. I stopped being a fan after the 90's. My favorites were Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana and Pearl Jam....but most of them aren't together anymore. Other than that, I listen to the stuff from the 70's mostly...I was definitely born in the wrong generation

Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Bonjovi
Boys Like Girls
My Chemical Romance
Aly & AJ
The Beatles
Aerosmith
Meg & Dia
CC
The ones who sing Teardrops on my Guitar

Aly and Aj the next Heart? Naw

nine inch nails, priestess, and foo fighters

Tool, NIN, Smashing Pumpkins... those are kind of obvious. They will definitely be classic!
