Can u teach me how to download songs from limewire?!
Question: okay, this sounded kinda lame, but I really and honestly dont know how cuz I never download any songs before so can you teach me? give me like, step 1: blah blah blah, step 2: blah blah blah and all that, okay?

Easy peasy lemon squeezy. :D
Okay.
Step One: Dowload Limewire from limewire.com
-Okay, pretty simple.
Step Two: Choose your catagory in the left side of the screen.
-For music, click music/media (depending on you version). A search box will come up.
Step Three: Type in your search inquiries.
-If you can't find your song, keep looking! use different keywords or spelling.
Step Four: Double click on a song.
- There are different kinds of speeds: Cable/DSL, T1, and T3. I have a good computer, so I always use the fastest: T3. You can find this information in the song columns.
Step Five: Wait.
-Patience is a virtue! Somtimes your file will corrupt. If this happens, simply right click and clear the song and try another.
Step Six: Listen to your song.
-This is important before you burn/use/upload it/whatever. If the song is not what you want, repeat step four and five. Make sure to listen to the entire thing; many have defects. This is shared files, after all.
Step Seven: Burn/Do Whatever.
-You can use Windows Media player/Rhapsody/iTunes/whatever to burn your music to blank cd's, or anything else. i prefer iTunes because it's fast. For that, just make the windows smaller (of Limewire and your program) and drag and drop.

ok, really isnt that hard but..
1) you open up limewire
2) you type in the artist you want to download or song title, into the little box where it say artist ect
3) you click search
4) a bunch of songs will appear, you find the one you want and double click it and wait for it to be done downloading wich you will see a the bottom of your screen and then once its 100% double click have your volume up and your ready to go
once your done, click clear interactive and it will go to your library and when you want to listen to it again just click on your library.
i assume you downloaded limewire so you hit search, then audio and type in a song you like. there should be a bunch that comes up select it hit download and on the bottom you should see it downloading. after it says 100% go to top right and hit library it should be right there. if it doesnt load hit find more sources at the bottom and if that doesnt work just select another video. if you cannot think of a video hit Whats New? on the bottom and a bunch of new videos should come up. hope that helps
Open up limewire
Then On the far left, there will be a thick sort of search engine.
up to top of that, there will be little tabs saying...
audio.... video.... stuff like tht.
if you want to download a song, click on audio and then in the search engine, enter the name of the song where it asks you to, and the artist.
Then in he middle of the page, a whole bunch of songs will pop up. click on the song that you would like to download.
then it will come up down the bottom, saying that its downloaded. once it says complete next to the song that you have chosen, i will appear somewhere in your computer.

if you already downloaded limewire--
1) top left corner click audio
2) type what you want in the search bars
--i.e.
*song title
*artist
*album
*genre
3) click search
4) your results will come up in the area to the right of the search area
5) you can do this two ways, either right click> click 'download'- and it goes, or just double click the file
6) you'll see it download at the bottom of the screen.
7) once it's done downloading, it will stay in your library on limewire, and it will save to a spot on your hard-drive-- depending where you specify it goes. usually under c>documents and downloads>downloads>limewire... i'm pretty sure that's the default...
then you play your music! :) that's super easy. i love limewire.

1. open limewire-or download it for free if you don't have it
2. go to search at the top of the page
3. on the left side there is a box called 'file name'. type the name of the song there
4. click enter
5. all the songs will start coming up
6. double click on one or click on one and press download underneath the songs
7. down the bottom they will start downloading-wait until 100% and then double click to play
