I agree. He is a great artist. But with the changes in the music industry, record companies will only promote, market, artist that they can control. Sort of like Rihanna. i like her music but, is it really her? She has totally changed it up since her first album. But artist like Donell Jones will always get more respect because they love what they do and are true to it.
I prefer "U know what's up" with Lisa Left Eye Lopez. The quintessential summer jam.

Donell Jones is my favourite contemporary solo male r&b artist because he consistently puts out great sounding music. This song is no exception. Who is the female singing in the background anyone know? Sounds a bit like Faith Evans.
