While I was initially impressed with their music and listened to them pretty avidly for 6-8 months, it began to slowly dawn on me that they were a christian band, and that their message was in actuality pretty brainless.
I mean... ahh, never mind. Not worth it. They're just kinda stupid. A few tunes that are decent, some good melodies, but eventually I got too pissed off by the preaching and said screw it and stopped listening to them.
I was actually going to see them almost a year and a half ago, but went to a friend's Halloween party instead, where I met my girlfriend and the love of my life. Derivative preachy christian punk band .... or mother of my child ... hmmm ....
I used to listen to "Who I am hates who I've been" and their version of "Pirates who don't do anything". I do admire their passion, but since their hearts seem to be uncoupled from their brains, my admiration does not extend to respect.

Pressing on is okay. I LOVE "Who I am hates who I've been" and that song that says, "If home is where the heart is then my home is where you are. But it's getting oh so hard to spend these days without my heart, so I'm taking you with me, anywhere that I can ever hope to be"

Yeah, I am in love with relient k. Their music is awesome! Psh, no one's going to make fun of you... If they do, it's just cause they haven't experienced it yet lol ;)
