You raised me up so i can stand on mountains original song?!

Question: i know few of the lyrics...
you raised me up so i can stand on mountains, you raised me up to walk on stormy sea. i searched the net for the singer, but the search turned "westlife". not to be mean, but they made so many covers after good songs that i don't really believe it.
i remember, a few years back there was a blonde girl singing this on the tv, but i'm also not sure if she's the real thing..and also don't know her name :P
so, thanks in advance

This song (You Raise Me Up) is originally by Norwegian-Irish duo Secret Garden, though many artists like Westlife (you are right with this!), Aled Jones, Becky Jane Taylor and Josh Groban have all made their own versions. It's really annoying that the original song performers are not credited well enough for their great song because it is NOT Westlife or Josh nor anyone else but Secret Garden who made the original version!!

Josh Grobin
