Of the two I am more of a Steely Dan fan
Except that Fly Like An Eagle was the Steve Miller Band and NOT Steely Dan.

LOL...when I began typing my answer, there were no other responses! We're all a few seconds apart!
But I do really enjoy the early Steve Miller Band; Children of the Future, Sailor, Brave New World, Your Saving Grace, Number 5, etc.
As for Steely Dan? I love everything they did!

Steve Miller Band - yes - Fly like an Eagle is still a great song.
Steely Dan is one of the most played artists on my iPOD...their music remains great today.

i really like steve miller band(the joker is my all-time favorite), and steely dan is alright, reelin' in the years is a good song
Steve Miller and Steely Dan...two really good bands that should not be confused with each other.
At least Steely Dan doesn't have Seal singing any of their stuff.
