Question: Im always seeing their names together when anyone talks about great rappers...Do you agree? And would you add anyone elses name to that three some?

I agree...great rappers...very underrated...probably cuz u actually have to think to listen to them unlike the garbage they play on the radio...i'd add Mos Def in there...man i wonder if any of them came out with "ay bay bay" if they's finally get the recognition they deserve.....damn shame!!!

They are great because they have a style that cant be copied. They make great cd's to add.
Definitely agree with you. I guess they put them together is they might hear a song or two from either of them on the radio, and they listen to everything else they got. I think those three are the ones with the most exposure on the radio, but for only like a day, cause it gets covered over with that Crank Dat bullcrap. And, like the other people here, I would add Mos Def.
OKAY....FINALLY something REALLY worth answering....but now...we have a problem....MAJOR problem....You see I agree that Lupe is nice....amazing even...but he hasn't been around as long as Common, Mos Def, and Talib....so Unfortunately... if your going to add Lupe...then YES ...I have a few more artists that could definately be on this list...NO they dont have as much PUBLICITY as those who have been named...but YES I can back up my choices with THERE music instead of MY OPINONS. Please take the time to direct yourselves to the following emcees...I am 95% sure (because some may say NO just to disagree) that if you LISTEN to them the same way you LISTEN to the Common, Lupe, Mos Def, and Talib...you will agree.

Well they are great rappers I believe they are very underrated actually. Talib Kweli may be the most underrated rapper off all time. Common is the best rapper to ever come out of the midwest and Lupe has made two great albums but thats all he has really, he is still young and hopefully he doesnt retire.

You can't argue with that: They're are spitting the truth to the young Black youth, like me. They really "keep it real." There is a lot of other emcees that would fall into this category, but them 3 are more popular right now.
