I like thrash (Megadeth), stoner (Corrosion of Conformity), doom (Sahg), death (Death), power metal (In Flames), prog (Yes), prog metal (Fates Warning), classic rock(Zeppelin), hard rock (UfO, Budgie), jam rock (PHISH), folk rock (neil Young, Joseph Arthur), jazz fusion (Old Santana), psychedelic (Pink Floyd), country/blues rock (Allman Brothers), grunge (Soundgarden), and roots reggae (Bob Marley).

I don't care much for soft rock - I didn't see any soft rock listed in those bands you like!

I like EVERY subgenre of rock. I love metal the most, but I love alternative and punk and even acoustic rock. people seem to think people like us are weird, though. :)

Yup indeed, I can appreciate any subgenre of rock music.
It was the genre that intrested me in music in the first place when I was younger.
There are a lot of great new bands and some of the oldies are just classic!
I don't think there isn't a subgenre I don't like in particular! It's not rare, it's great you like so much rock you aren't alone. =]
Me! I just love rock music..Nowadays I can't tolerate R&B except some songs like john legend's ordinary people...It's so beautiful...Anyways, most of the songs I like are either new wave or music from the 90s..I like grunge, ethereal rock, spacey rock, classic rock, pop rock but i don't really like thrash...
I especially like Smashing Pumpkins..In fact it's my most fave band...The newest band I've taken a liking to is The Killers but I just like some of their songs...I believe their music is more new wave/80s driven and they're good at what they do..
I recently discovered Led Zeppelin when my father watched (again!) The Song remains the Same.. I started liking Black Dog but then found myself searching the new for other COOL Led Zep songs and found several..I especially like their loud stuff rather than the slow ones...
I like Industrial rock most deff.
