Why Do People Always Compare Robin Thicke to Justin Timberlake??!
Question: It's sooo annoying. Robin Thicke is more like Soul_R&B and Justin Timberlake sings dance music mostly. Robin Thicke writes and composes his own music. Justin Timberlake doesn't. I just don't see the comparison. I love them both, they both make great music. But... I think Robin Thicke deserves a lot more credit. And people that compare the two must not understand true soul music. Robin Thicke is the best I've heard in years folowing the classics besides incredible people like Alicia Keys. Music is basically disrespectful noise these days. Soul music is dying and I truly believe that Robin Thicke has the voice to revive it. The only similarity between RT and JT is that they're both white( oh and their last names begin with a T). But....if Robin Thicke was a black man, his name and Justin Timberlake's wouldn't even be mentioned in the same conversation. I just felt like stating my opinion. And although my opinion my sound like it, no I'm not old school, I'm only 19 No rude comments plz.

Because they're both white guys that sing in that falsetto type tone. I loved JT---til Robin came along. I agree that he's SO much more talented than JT. Who cares if JT dances better? RT has better overall quality, and I think he's sexy as hell. If he wasn't married...whew!

You know whats so funny? Im listening to Thicke's CD rite now as you ask this question. He does remind me of JT a little. I guess they both have that high voice and they are both white, but sing R&B music, which is usually sung by blacks. However, they both do a good job at it.
