well to be honest it kinda doesn't sound right like the word silence not too sure bout the word frightening...maybe you shouldn't give ur band a name until you've done a few songs and the name just kinds..."comes to you"...thats what we had to do in my band because noboody could agree on a name and nothing sounded right...it'll come though

Emo bands tend to not make sense at all. Go for words that don't match, or just make up words. Fall Out Boy? My Chemical Romance? Panic! At The Disco? They're all good examples. Off the top of my head..

I listen to a lot of "emo" music, and I think your choice of words is great, but try Frighten the Silence, it sounds cool, and plus there are to many band with "The" at the beginning. There's nothing wrong with "the" but the whole point is to be different

i love it! i hope your band is successful and doesn't have much (or any) sreamo type parts in your songs. i personally think that is the cause of so many "emo" bands not being as successful. band names are always so interesting and i admit i judge bands on their names quite often so good luck, i love your name!

oh my gosh i like "disturbing the silence" it sounds really good, you can tell it's a rock band, it doesnt give too much, but enough for you to check it out, think it sounds interesting, all that good stuff. i think i'd prob check something out with that name.
