Are Beethoven's immortal beloved letters still in existence? If so where are!

Question: Have they survived throughout the years or are they desintegrated? I know his nephew Karl sold much of his belongings after his death, were these part of that? Are they in the museum in Bonn? Is the writing legible?

One of the three letters found with the Heiligenstadt documents is preserved in the museum at Bonn but is not available for public view due to it's deteriorated condition. It is debated whether or not the others found were the originals, and the one there is a debatable unit. Material from Beethoven's days is extremely suspect because the writing tools were less than acceptable in today's media. The paper was parchment, unless the very wealthy had it. Ludwig von Beethoven was not wealthy. Even some of his original manuscript is so badly deteriorated as to be unreadable. If someone had been capable of preserving this stuff back then, be sure it would have been saved. He was an idol to the music world at his death, but most of his work was commissioned rather than sold. The original hirers usually hold the manuscripts.

NO actually they aren't legend has it that it never existed only in myths and well... legends.

Beethoven's work is spread out between musuems around the world so u have to be extremely specific to find the one ur looking for. But the chances are that there is a copy of it on the internet somewhere

You might find it here in the Beethoven museum in Bonn. :
