When is the last time you heard a "REAL" freestyle by an artist in the!
Question: No one really freestyles anymore. I mostly hear people drop verses for the album....or sometime you can just tell that they are not going off the top of the head. When is the last time you heard a "Real" freestyle from someone that is somewhat famous.? They dont have to be Jay-Z but they cant be YOU!...LOL Here is the last thing I saw... It is Common and I know its off top cuz they are giving him spontaneous words...although I also enjoyed the flashback to the classic "I Used to Love H.E.R."

this summer at Rock The Bells, I heard Supernatural do a REAL freestyle. Completely off the head, he would even rhyme about stuff that the audience held up in the air. He is a REAL freestyler, as are several others (including JUICE). In fact, SUpernatural once freestyled for 8 straight hours, a world record. If that's not a real freestyle I dont know what is.

hmmm..... that is a very good question.... just let me think here......Well I was watching 8 mile and when I looked up info on the movie, I read in details that every freestyle was written except for the first one. The one where Eminem chokes to. That was by Eminem's best friend Proof.
The last time I heard a artist actually freestyle was when Kanye West was n Saturday Night Live. You know he is freestyling because he was performing "Everything I Am" and had jumbled up the words and he messed it up so bad he could not pick it back up so he had to go off the top of his head.
In the underground in texas alot of rappers still do like zro, trae, of course lil flip but dsr does to sometimes.
Thats a tuff one because seem like the pride of being able to freestyle has disappeared...I remember back in the days you was kind of looked down on if you couldnt go off the top...You got more respect if you could....But I cosign with Qwerty with artist like Supernatural and Craig G...you dont hear much of that anymore...I think maybe Joe Buddens the last time I was in NY...but other then that nil
