She also does a version in English called 99 Red Balloons.

In the 80's the German band was Nena, the song in German
was 99 Luftballoons
The same band also did a English one as well called 99 Red Balloons.
However around 2000 or so, a band here in the US called Goldfinger re-did the English song, again called 99 Red Balloons
