Ron's is right, but you stirred a memory.

It was the birthday of a great friend, who could drink all night.
We took him to our favourite after work top row bar. We each took a turn buying a round, standing the bar. We knew he would drink every shooter we bought, we were all bartenders ourselves, so we knew, boy we knew.
Every different shooter went down, as fast as they came.
After the 8th one, I looked at Bruce, he went down on his knees still holding the brass bar. I knew him too well and backed up five feet yelled, move away! move away from Bruce now!
Still holding the brass,he pulled himself up shot his body forward and blew,
Everything shot out toward the back of the bar, hit the back wall of bottles, the bartender, and a few bystanders who had no idea what I meant.
I will never forget the day Bruce blew eight to the bar.
The jazz band played on. Bruce looked around wiped his face with a handful of hankies and straight faced, told the bartender it was his round set em up.
True story promice.
I can't make this shite up
