Singing in front of a crowd?!
Question: I have to sing for my band soon because our singer cant make it. I know i can sing in tune and have a decent voice, and im not nervous...but im a little worries on how my voice will sound because i have never sung in front of a crowd. Any tips?

This has worked for me: Focus on one object not a person but a object like a lamp,chair or even an exit sign. While focusing on the object think about the one place your comfortable in and picture yourself in that place and sing your song the very best that you can. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!
U SHOULD SING A CALMING JESSE MCCARTNEY SONG! ANY JESSE MCCARTNEY SONGS ARE AWESOME!!!! I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE SONG JUST GO, BUT U NEED TO BE ABLE TO SING HIGH. I LOVE JESSE SO MUCH! HE HAS A GREAT VOICE (THE BEST!), A GREAT PERSONALITY, AND GREAT LOOKS! TRY SOME OF HIS SONGS. THE SONG "GONE" BY HIM REQUIRES SOME TALENT TOO.
this 1 one worked 4 me just think of sum1 you lik and if that dont work just think ur at your fav concert.
Picture the audience in their underwear, or think of an object that has nothing to do with what you're doing. Or look at that bright light beyond the tunnel! Stare at it as you sing!
dont worry. thats the best advice i can give. when i first started singing i would close my eyes but as i got more comfortable i now sing with them open and only close them when i scream.
on the other hand if youve ever listened to bob dylan or neil young you know that you dont have to have a great voice just sing your *** off sing about truth and life and use what you got.
