Nope....I listen to the technique & lyrics(topic-wise) of the rap artist.
I tell you what tho...if there wasn't no cussing on rap albums..sales would be wayyyy down due to the fact that fans say..."Yo man he fell off!" and "He ain't street no more yo..I ain't rocking that album!"
no, primarily because profanity isnt the most important part of a song..it would be just like buying/downloading edited songs

its not so much the cussing its more the amount in it and the way it's expressed. I'm old school EPMD, Kool Mo Dee. Tupac was really 1 of a kind those are more my types, When I hear music I not only hear the beats or rhythm...I listen to the message it's sending. Make any sense? sometimes my husband tells me I'm bumping off at the gums to much hehe
no, i really dont have a problem with no cussin, lupe doesn't really cuss that much and i hardly notice it and still like his music. With me, its not the fact that they're cussing, its those edited versions I can't stand... I'd rather listen to a cuss word than here those annoying scratches or silences
Naw, cussing isn't a big factor to me when it comes to my interest in hip-hop. I'll listen to someone if they cuss a lot or very little, but just as long as the lyrics are good.

no. the real part of hip hop is not the cussing but with the artits do with the music and how good of a flow they have to the beat. i still listen to Cham and in his new album he didn't cuss. i also listen to Will Smith.
