How do you feel about buying instruments like guitars online? New instruments, f!
Question: Well I have always said try it out in person first but I found a great website called zzounds.com that has changed my mind about that. I have played for over 11 years (guitar) and I have been a guitar instructor for 7 and I play in a gigging band and I have always played Gibson guitars. I decided to purchase my first guitar online back in November and I chose a 200.00 ESP guitar. I thought it wouldnt be any good but I just wanted a good practice guitar. I was really fooled! That 200.00 ESP beat some of my High End Gibson's and it came in great condition. It was brand new without a scratch and was packaged very well. Zzounds.com also has a 30 day money back guarentee and you can return it for any reason. I know play ESP guitars and I cant find an ESP dealer in my area where I live so I order them online. Another good website is samash.com but I prefer zzounds due to the fact that if you arent satisfied it can be returned. If you dont completely trust a website you can always go to a music store and try out the guitar first. Also, most websites provide free shipping.

Ive done it....good experience, would do it again.
p.s. I bet you get tons of chicks
I've bought a lot of music equipment online. I suggest going to your local stores though, and test driving the gear, find what ya want, then go order it online from a place like musiciansfriend or something. Those places have warehoused gear, so you're not buying the one from the store that everyone has kicked around, dropped, knocked over.
Meh, it's okay.
I bought my bass online and I wish i would've got to test it out first.
It's not as good as I wanted
I would really recommend going to a guitar store to get one.
Or at least see if they have the one you want to buy and test it out.
