personally i don't see any reason why most of these guys should retire, fact is that people have probably been telling them for years. for some reason theres the mistaken impression that old-school original artists should give it up and hand the reins over to these fakes recycling the same gimmicks to make bucks. if anything we need these real MC's to keep the game "honest". i can think of many more rappers that shouldn't have started up, than those all-time legends that "need to take a seat".
