Unemployed college student struggling...?!
Question: im a full time student right now and i only have 400 dollars to my name.....i dont wanna work because if i do i wont get approved for financial aid right? if your dealing with this same problem...please tell me how you manage not working and paying bills....i got a school loan but i dont want to go crazy with it so i took out enough for tuition and books....but left about 200 for myself...please help

Well since I am taking part in an unpaid internship this year, I couldn't work. So, what I did was ration out how much any bills I had would cost over the semester, I put money on some giftcards for groceries each month so that I would eat out less and not overspend at the grocery store (which I am famous for).

it is possible you will still get approved for financial aid.
Have you even filled out the application yet? If you havn't, apply for it while your unemployed, then get a job.
If it's anything like the financial aid you get from the government in California, it can take a semester or longer to get approved.
Try working for cash. I have lots of friends who do child care or care for the elderly. They are paid in cash and don't have to claim their income.
