How many metalheads think its wrong to mix metal with rap?!

Anything mixed with rap is'nt metal,rap is garbage and a waste,it's like the special ed of music except the short bus ahs dope rims,why would any metal band lower themselves into that talentless waste of space,I hate rap and it just doesnt belong in our music,btw anyone who thinks that Linkin Park is metal is dumber than a bag of hammers,they should just go play in traffic because I cant stand them,I hope I was thorough enough,did I mention that I hated rap,ok we're good

A lot of people are probably going to bash rap. But There's all different kinds of rap. Underground, mainstream, so on and so on. Over all though, yeah not a very good combination. I also don't like it when "rappers" like Lil Wayne mix their songs with the classics like 'Help' from The Beatles.
If its rage against the machine or ICP its great... otherwise, it is Freaking TERRIBLE
I try to be openminded when it comes to experimentation with music. It sounds interresting. Music must evolve.
I am a total metal head and that honestly depends on what kind of metal and what kind of rap is mixed in. If you like KoRn they do rap in their songs. Limp Bizkit they do both. Anthrax did a rap song with another group though it wasn't ther styl but they did do it.
Other than Rage Against The Machine, I think all "Rapcore" is unbelievably stupid, it's almost as bad as nu-metal.
I think it is terribly wrong.
Metal is the best and you can not change that.
Rap however, sucks.
Rap should be a banned/illegal genre of "music" if that's what you wanna call it.
Leave metal alone, all metal is good, Hair, Glam, Nu, Thrash... anything.
It is okay if you mix metal with stuff like punk - look at Iron maiden, you can definitely hear some punk there, and watch "Heavy: The Story of Metal" it is on Much as a special. It talks about the bands that did what they did, and how it was done.
Again, to hell with rap - screw it.

EDIT: Old rap was actually okay, Like Run DMC... but the new "Gangsta" rap is just BS.. it's like totally messed up and has no rhythm to it. but I still do not like any rap old or new.

I wouldn't want steak on my ice cream, same principle applies here. Anthrax & PE were the only ones to pull it off and that was a cover song, not like that Limp Bizkit/Korn crap that thank God is gone or close to it.

eh some pull it off like Anthrax with Public Enemy, and Aerosmith with Run DMC. There ar other sthat are good. But people like Kid Pebble AKA Kid Rock need to fall off the face of the earth

Rage Against the machine was fine, but most rapcore sucks. I hate most of the mainstream crap in rap today, but I still like a lot of rap. I wouldn't consider myself a metalhead; I only listen to 10 metal bands.
If you don't know how to mix it well, then it ends up bad. Only one band has been able to pull it off well, and thats Rage Against the Machine. Other bands end up sucking bad at it like Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit

well i kinda like a few of hed pe's songs but generally metal and rap together is horrible...its just wrong and shouldnt be done... how dare someone destroy raging guitars growing vocals and thrashing drums with that....mess!

I do if its real metal. Like underground metal. I dont care to hear Morbid Angel or Satyricon rapping.
I think Power Metal mixed with Rap would sound interesting...
