Can you name a classic song that is not on a classic album?!
Question: I dont think Late Registration was a classic cd but Kanye West straight killed "Diamonds From Sierra Leone". Also, I dont believe Food And Liquor was a classic, yet I love the song, "Sunshine". Lastly, off Bad Boy 10th Aniversary, Victory 2000, "No Apologies" off Eminem Presents The Re Up and "Lose Yourself" off the 8 Mile Soundtrack.

Hard Knock Life, classic song IMO because it had crossover appeal without sacrificing lyricism...off of Life & Times of Shawn Carter vol. 2
The Sugar Hill Gang's albums with Rapper's Delight on it. They were a one-hit wonder
Hard 2 Obtain had a fairly mediocre album "Ism & Blues" but the song Bust Me Down is a classic.
I personally think "TION" by Blood of Abraham was an instant classic even though their Eyedollartree album was largely slept on.
Nas - Hip hop is dead from the album Hip hop is dead.. it's a great song but it wasn't one of his most classic albums
Since you mentioned Late Registration, I'll say "We Major" (that beat is amazing) also, I'll say "Hurt me Soul" & "The Emperor's Soundtrack" from Food & Liquor
Also with Kanye West, I think Jesus Walks from The College Dropout was one. I don't think that album will go down as classic, but Jesus Walks was a pretty groundbreaking song - especially for a mainstream artist. I'm not a huge Kanye fan, or a Christian, but I think that track is amazing. The rest of the album was a bit mediocre in places though.
I'ma go with "the corners" common and kanye....that song was just 2 damn ill 2 me....
ahh i know i'ma get a lot of heat for this but.....IMO "stillmatic" was not a classic album....but "one mic" was defenitly a classic song.....

snoop dogg-drop it like its hot of r&g that cd had some dumb songs but i liked drop it like its hot
What a stupid question. Every album that is at least 4/5 has a classic song.
