Question: best answer gets the 10 points
Answers: best answer gets the 10 points
Space Oddity is my all time favorite song. It took me years to figure out it was him and not the Beatles. Album, I will say either Alladin Sane or Heathen - new but great
Major Tom
Under Pressure when he did a duet with Freddie Mercury and Queen.
Ziggy Stardust
Then, he laughed at me per-up up up up!
Me and my drum.
THE DRUMMER BOY
Seirously, i have never heard anyone sing it better, and its soo origanal. Its my #1 favourite christmas carol, =)
Peace
Changes
Oh yeah
Mm
Still dont know what I was waiting for
And my time was running wild
A million dead-end streets and
Every time I thought Id got it made
It seemed the taste was not so sweet
So I turned myself to face me
But Ive never caught a glimpse
Of how the others must see the faker
Im much too fast to take that test
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-changes
Dont want to be a richer man
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-changes
Just gonna have to be a different man
Time may change me
But I cant trace time
I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
So the days float through my eyes
But stil the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
Theyre quite aware of what theyre going through
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-changes
Dont tell them to grow up and out of it
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-changes
Wheres your shame
Youve left us up to our necks in it
Time may change me
But you cant trace time
Strange fascination, fascinating me
Ah changes are taking the pace Im going through
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-changes
Oh, look out you rock n rollers
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
(turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-changes
Pretty soon now youre gonna get a little older
Time may change me
But I cant trace time
I said that time may change me
But I cant trace time
best song ever...then followed by The Man who Sold the World!!!
AWESOME
My favorite album is "Ziggy Stardust", with "Alladin Sane" a close second. Hard to pick a favorite song, but it might be "Width Of A Circle" from "Man Who Sold The World" (As you can see, I'm partial to the earlier stuff). That's just my opinion, though. Others can certainly disagree. It'd be a pretty boring world if everybody agreed about music all the time.
AH good question!!!! i was gonna ask it the other day but i chickened outt
ok
song: "Oh! You Pretty Things"
album: Hunky Dory - NO QUESTION!

good song personally i like "heros"
from the cd BEst of Bowie which really is the best of bowie
other faves:
under pressure
space oddity
lets dance
Suffragette City
boy that's a hard one. under pressure is definitely up there, but it is a duet so perhaps we can discard that one (altho, we all know it's bowie who makes the song). my favorite would have to be Lady Grinning Soul from the Aladdin Sane album. i'm a hardcore Bowie fan so i like every single thing he's done. he's got an amazing sultry voice, a quirky way of looking at things, he's edgy. this song is moody with a touch of jazz.
Modern Love
Let's Dance
China Girl
Under Pressure (with Queen of course)
Marlaan, Major Tom is from Peter Schilling.
