Does anyone else out there think Janis Joplin was a sex god?!

Now your talking a plain simple person who made everyone who saw her love her, plain speaking ,called a spade a spade and took no s--t but when she started to sing she could calm even the wildest heart.I saw her live in LA she just turned up at a Dylan gig and joined in what a performer.

    She was very sultry and seductive...
    No. She was as ugly as sin.
    Not for me thanks.
    her voice is what made her sexy.... not so much the looks....
    I try to speak kindly of the dead--so I will just say...ahem,no!
    not sexy, not that great of a musician, nor that great a singer

    but she was the first with the "skanky-chic" look for women that still takes a predominant part of society even today - so her spot as an originator at least is beyond reproach
    Janis was a wonderful artist but sex "GODDESS" never. She wore long dresses (maxi dresses) had long straight and often very oily looking hair and not what you could call pretty. But what she lacked in dress sense and looks she more than made up for with her music. Like Joan Baez she sang a lot of anti war songs such as Joe Hill and i believe she sang a couple of songs with Country Joe and the Fish at Woodstock. She was and always will be one of life's greats.
