HELP!!!!!! RARE BIRD music where did it go??!

Question: When I was a teenager my best friend had some albums of a band called RARE BIRD. I loved them, but never had the money to get them. My allowance permitted only my main passions... Pink Floyd, Genesis and Yes. Years after when I did have the cash I was never able to find their albums. I checked online but somehow the website never worked and is only a tribute thing. What happened to them and that were the main songs and albums... I remember they were cool. Who can help me with this old flame?

All of their albums are available on CD these days.
I loved their 1st two albums, 'Rare Bird'(1969), and 'As Your Mind Flies By'(1970). I really enjoyed the dual organ/electric piano thing they had going...great band!
Did you know that David Kaffinetti (he played electric piano with Rare Bird) later appeared as the organ player with Spinal Tap in their movie 'This Is Spinal Tap'? He went under the name Viv Savage!
Here's David aka Viv playing the organ...great video:

The recent CD compilation titled 'Third Time Around' is quite good, but only features material from the bands 2nd phase between 1972-74. My favorite song from this period is 'Turn Your Head Around'.
John Wetton was even a part of the lineup for awhile!
I still see another compilation album titled 'Sympathy' in the used record/CD stores from time to time. It features songs from the first two albums, with a shorter version of 'As Your Mind Flies By'.

I deal with CD Universe all the time, they're quite reputable. I see they have several Rare Bird albums:

Wow. I'm shocked that someone here even Knows them. I have one song in my laptop. ("Sympathy")

yeah, they're one of those bands that're tough to find & when you do, you'll have to dish out import prices.

amazon.com offers three recordings by Rare Bird. I have never told anyone before that I am not who my profile claims to be, but I'm going to make an exception for you: Thanks for the memories, and best wishes to you.

so solly, never heard of them miss floyd..... charlie go now.

try amoeba records in san fransisco, they have nearly everything and can get you what they know exists.
