Lots of happy music from that whole era as I recall. I particularly enjoy Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra, also Little Richard and many others. Don't have $300.00 to spend on CD's though, and besides my old stick shift Mazda may just need a new clutch. First major thing thats gone wrong with it, and its 18 years old. Of course we have a few pretty steep hills around here. You enjoy yourself seadog, its really great to hear from you again!

Turn it up, i can't hear it! that is my very favorite kind of music. I am sooooo jealouse right now.

While 50's and early 60's is the best music,I think your being rather inconsiderate blasting the street so early.
Never know, someone may now sit outside your house with a ghetto blaster playing bagpipe music in retaliation

I haven't got much old stuff, before the '60's

I bet they are good and wish I could hear those songs. You are lucky to have them .. Songs that might of been forgotten but stay alive for us who enjoy them ...Memories are for those who take time out to relive the past.. and cherish those memories ...And I for one love to hear music that i grew up with.. Thanks Seaman for a memory that I want to keep alive.

i also I'm a great fan of the 50's,60's,and i don't have to spend money on Cd's because when we were young my friends and i would run out and buy the latest songs to come out,we often traded alot with each other,in fact i still have my record player ,i have been offered money for records and player,in fact we listened to Jerry Blavaat,Hylit, and also watched American Bandstand, bye the way ,what was your question.

That is my favorite kind of music, and I know a lot of the younger generation that prefers the oldies to listen too. Doo Wop will never die.

you play it as loud as you like...feel good music like that is made to be played and shared!!

Ahh my friend, a dear, dear friend of mine Steve Hallowell had the very same collection. He used to play it for us while we were up camping in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains in Utah. Brings back precious memories of a special friend who passed, left this world way too soon kidney cancer stole the life of a man who had the gift of laughter and the voice of an angel. He left behind a lovely wife and a small son and many friends, those songs bring great joy. Turn it up an extra notch so that he might hear and sing along! Thanks for the memory!
